From 24 to 27 October, the A+A trade fair in Düsseldorf provides impulses for a better working world. For optimal occupational health and safety, especially in the treatment of respiratory protective equipment, Meiko will be presenting new machines and demonstrating how they ensure better health for SCBA technicians and respiratory protection wearers in the overall concept of the respiratory protective equipment workshop. As a solution provider for respiratory protective equipment workshops, the company has been working closely with fire services for a decade and has been contributing experience from medical technology to its innovations for almost a century – valuable expertise of which industrial companies using respiratory protective equipment can convince themselves in Hall 5 at Stand H 37.

From the very beginning, personal protection and occupational safety have been the focus of Meiko's product development. This is also the case with TopClean D. Meiko wants to replace manual pre-cleaning of respiratory protective equipment and certain mechanical procedures with a safe mechanical process. Soot is removed in the TopClean under "high pressure". BA masks are clamped onto patented heads. This prevents contamination inside the mask during pre-cleaning. Thanks to the compressed air connection in the wash chamber, even regulators are cleaned of dirt particles safely, gently and efficiently. Carrying straps, bottles, regulators, tools, lamps and other equipment can also be pre-treated in the TopClean D.

After mechanical pre-cleaning in the new TopClean D, respirator masks, compressed air bottles, SCBA harnesses and regulators are cleaned and disinfected in the new TopClean H. Up to six respirator masks can be "connected" to the machine in the rack via quick coupling, and cleaned and disinfected within six minutes.

Thanks to the automatic hood system at the touch of a button, TopClean H enables very gentle, lift-free – i.e. ergonomic – loading and, in terms of planning, offers the outstanding possibility of clean/dirty separation by the machine itself. As a planning expert for respiratory protective equipment workshops, Meiko ensures easier clean/dirty separation with optimised ergonomics and user-friendliness.

The tried and tested cleaning and disinfection appliance TopClean M has been providing respiratory protection wearers and staff in respiratory protective equipment workshops with more safety from the danger of fire cancer for a decade and will also be on show at A+A.

Respiratory protective equipment is treated mechanically in the disinfection appliance from Meiko with a process that can be validated, making everyday work easier for hundreds of technicians for respiratory protective equipment. Trade fair visitors to the Meiko stand can convince themselves of the machine builder's expertise in planning individual workflows for hygiene centres and respiratory protective equipment workshops in consultation sessions and by means of practical examples.

From planning to service, advice on chemicals and validation to training in the company's own academy, Meiko offers the industry everything from a single source. Industrial companies benefit from the know-how of the traditional company, which consistently takes into account the aspects of ergonomics, occupational safety, cost effectiveness and sustainability in its solutions – for the benefit of respiratory protection equipment wearers and appliance technicians. With one goal: to protect lives. Visitors to the A+A trade fair in Düsseldorf from 24 to 27 October 2023 can see this and the new products for themselves in Hall 5, Stand H 37.
